Owner

How do I post an ad?
If you would like to post an ad, you can do it easily from your computer after registering. Access the “Administration” area for property owners. The forms and the information will guide you through the description of your offer.

How can I edit my offer?
If you wish to edit your offer all you have to do is log on and access the Administration area, where you will see the ‘edit property’ button. Follow the instructions to edit your ad. After you have changed any data (the location of your offer, your personal data and the previously supplied photographs) your ad will not be accessible to customers until the Dwellvacation staff has approved the new ad.

I have forgotten my Username/password, what can I do?
If you are unable to access your administration:
- You have lost your password and/or username (you may not have entered it correctly), click here.
- If it is a technical problem please send an email to customerservice@dwellvacation.com explaining the nature of the problem and your member number.              

How can I insert my property into the agency group?
It is easy: to insert your property into the agency group simply access your administration, agency area, accept the terms and conditions and your property will be visible in the dedicated databank. We recommend you carefully read the conditions listed in the voucher you will find in the homepage.

How can I learn about the offers in the area I am interested in?  
If you wish to receive information on the rent offers matching your search criteria, activate the E-mail Alert service. You will automatically receive, by email and for the time period you have requested, the news and updates matching your search criteria. To subscribe to the email alert service register or log in, search and, once you are in the results page, click on “Click here” to receive new offers corresponding to your search criteria (e-mail alerts), then follow the instructions. The service is free of charge and will be active for the period you have requested. (coming soon) There is no need to email our team for information on the offers matching your search criteria because this information is supplied by the e-mail alert service.                                                            

How can I have more information about offer no XX?
You must contact the property owner directly. All the offers on our portal are inserted directly by the property owners. For more information on the property, contact the owner directly by telephone or send an email.

I have sent the property owner a lot of emails but have received no answer, what should I do?
Because you are dealing with property owners and not agencies you will often find that owners are too busy to check their email regularly. The property owner may answer several days after you have sent an email, so please be patient. We also suggest you ring. If you have followed our advice and have not been able to contact the owner anyway, contact us and we will check if there have been changes in the property owner’s details or the owner him/herself has forgotten to update the offer.                                                                                                                

The availability and/or the price of offer number XX are/is not shown, where can I find that information? 
The property owner may not have had time to update the offer. We suggest you ring or send an email.

I have the reference number, how can I find the offer? You can access the advanced search form on the homepage and insert the reference number in the top field.

I cannot find an ad I had looked up previously, what can I do?
If you have searched for the offer using the reference number and the "No data available" message has been displayed, the property owner may not have renewed the offer. He/she may have changed it and the offer is being therefore processed by our team, so you will be unable to view it. Try again later.

How can I have the details of the property owner or send him/her an e-mail?
In the detailed form of the offer you have chosen, the details are in the upper right part of the form, under the photo gallery thumbnails. All you need to do is log on (free of charge) to access the property owner’s details (telephone number or the link to the email address) and send a message requesting information immediately. If the property owner’s telephone number is not displayed he/she has chosen not to disclose it. Please do not ask our team for it – they cannot help. If there is no link to an email the owner has chosen not to disclose said information (which is unusual) but a telephone number is usually provided. If you have any problems please contact us using the form in the contacts area of Dwellvacation.

How can I contact the property owner if he/she has not answered my email?

What can I do if I am unable to contact the property owner by telephone?
Send us an e-mail, you may have the wrong number or the number may have changed without Dwellvacation being told about it. Check if the international dialling code of the number shown is the one of the property owner’s country.

I do not speak the language of the property owner, what can I do?
Are you unable to communicate with the property owner? We recommend you use one of the following internet sites which offer free automatic translations into various languages:

Problems concerning registration, viewing, access 



I cannot access the detailed description and the photographs, what can I do?
This type of problem is usually caused by a firewall or an anti-virus programme.

I cannot register as member, what can I do?

If you have technical problems please send us an email using the form in the contacts area of Dwellvacation. Please explain the nature of the problem and if an error message appears, write what it says in the email you are sending us.

I have forgotten my Username/password, what can I do?

Booking a property for rent

Where can I find an example of rent contract for a season?
In Italy tenancies lasting less than 30 days do not require a contract.
However, we suggest sending a booking form where the terms and conditions of rent are stated.

What are the conditions for the deposit, reimbursement, breach of contract and contract?  
Generally the property owner supplies a contract/booking form with the rent conditions stated on it. Both parties must sign it. Deposits are usually 25% of the total rental price at the time of booking, but there is no specific rule. Dwellvacation is neither an estate agency nor a broker and therefore does not deal with the outcome of the renting activities.

What can I do if the property owner has not sent me a contract?
Dwellvacation is neither an estate agency nor a broker and therefore cannot guarantee the successful outcome of the transaction.
