Location Torre del Guado is 3 kms from Sansepolcro, a medieval town situated in Upper Tiber Valley, and 30 kms from Arezzo, not far from Cortona and Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria. The villa’s convenient location will allow you to easily reach the main art cities including Assisi and Urbino, Perugia and Pisa, Trasimeno Lake, Florence, Rome, ..). They are all a day, trip away and easily accessible through the near E45 speedway, at only 4 kms from the villa, and A1 highway 32 kms far. The area: This area has a great culinary tradition: everywhere you can enjoy the wonderful dishes of Tuscan cuisine, accompanied by the fine wines. There are a number of music festivals in the region, including Umbria Jazz in Perugia and Tuscan Sun Festival of Cortona in July. The sport and nature lovers may take excursions on foot, on horseback or on mountain bike and wander through woods and vineyards, ruins of old churches, castles and lovely old farm buildings.
